The
CRL Geneva Series professional hinge (SKU: GEN092BN) fits 5/16" (8 mm) to 1/2" (12 mm) tempered safety glass and is offered in six styles—three Wall Mount and three Glass-to-Glass—for flexible glass shower door designs. Geneva Hinges are self-centering and include a reversible 5° pivot pin for tighter closure. Custom pivot pins are also available for off-angle installations. All hinges are solid brass with stainless steel pins and springs for corrosion resistance in shower environments.
Standard Reversible Pivot Pin: Each Geneva hinge includes a reversible pivot pin marked 90° on one side and 85° on the other. Standard models ship with the 90° side active; Offset models ship pre-set to 85° for a 5° tighter closure into the shower interior. The pin can be rotated to activate the alternate side (do not flip upside down).
Custom Pivot Pin: Custom Pivot Pins (Cat. No. GENP1N) can be specified for off-angle installations up to 45°. If the 5° reversible pin does not achieve the desired door position, order a Custom Pivot Pin and contact Technical Sales Shower Door Department. Note: custom pins may affect glass sizes and enclosure aesthetics.
PERFORMANCE: Using two hinges on 5/16"–1/2" (8–12 mm) glass, each hinge assembly supports up to 80 lbs (36 kg) with a maximum door width of 28" (711 mm). Using three hinges supports up to 120 lbs (54 kg) with a maximum door width of 32" (813 mm).
