The CRL Geneva Series professional hinge (SKU: GEN037GP) fits 5/16" (8 mm) to 1/2" (12 mm) tempered safety glass and is engineered for glass shower door applications. Six styles provide design flexibility — three Wall Mount and three Glass-to-Glass types. Geneva Hinges are self-centering and include a reversible 5 degree pivot pin; custom pivot pins are available for off-angle installations. Constructed of solid brass with stainless-steel pins and springs for durable, corrosion-resistant performance.

Standard Reversible Pivot Pin: Each Geneva hinge contains a reversible pivot pin with sides marked 90° and 85°. Standard models ship with the 90° side active; offset models ship pre-set to 85° for a 5° tighter closure into the shower interior. The pin can be rotated (not flipped) to switch sides.

Custom Pivot Pin: Custom pivot pins (Cat. No. GENP1N) can be specified for off-angle installations up to 45° if the standard 5° adjustment does not achieve the desired closing position. Contact our Technical Sales Shower Door Department before ordering; glass sizes and enclosure aesthetics may be affected when using a custom pin.

Using two hinges with 5/16" to 1/2" glass (8 to 12 mm), each hinge set will hold up to 80 lbs. (36 kg) with a maximum door width of 28" (711 mm). Using three hinges, the set will hold up to 120 lbs. (54 kg) with a maximum door width of 32" (813 mm).
